Tyler Allen

Chief People Officer

Tyler Allen is Chief People Officer at VF Corporation, where he leads the company’s global people strategy. In this role, Tyler is responsible for human resources across the enterprise and VF brands, including talent strategy, organizational effectiveness, leadership development and culture.

Tyler brings more than 20 years of global human resources leadership experience across consumer, retail and technology organizations. Most recently, he served as Vice President, Human Resources Business Partner for VF’s North America region, supporting brands including The North Face®, Vans® and Timberland®. He led enterprise-wide organizational redesigns, executive onboarding and the development of talent programs designed to strengthen leadership pipelines and accelerate business performance.

Prior to VF, Tyler spent eight years at Nike, Inc., where he held senior leadership roles across talent management and HR business partnership. As Vice President of Talent, he led global talent strategy for more than 75,000 employees, overseeing executive succession planning, performance management and enterprise talent reviews. Earlier in his career, Tyler spent a decade at Microsoft in a range of HR leadership roles, including leading mergers and integration HR for major acquisitions such as Skype and Nokia. He began his career in consulting with Arthur Andersen.

Tyler holds a master’s degree in Human Resources and Labor Relations from Michigan State University and a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Human Resources from Utah State University.
