OUR STRATEGIC PRIORITIES

Elevating inclusion, diversity and equity means aligning our strategy with our overall purpose to create a culture of belonging that encourages associates to thrive. This strategy serves as our roadmap and is focused on three key pillars.

Championing Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Action

Our leaders at VF are advocates and allies for Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Action, and we are proud of them. They are using their voices to set our strategic direction through four councils:

GIDEC

Global Inclusion, Diversity and Equity Council

This global council is charged with stewarding VF’s IDEA strategy by providing visibility and focus to strategic initiatives while driving organizational alignment and prioritization that result in a culture of belonging, allyship and advocacy. The council has four committees that support the unique needs of historically underrepresented groups with a focus on women’s empowerment, LGBTQ+, disability and x-cultural communities.

EIN

EMEA Inclusion Network

With almost 100 nationalities represented across EMEA, it is important that everyone feels included in our community. The EMEA I&D Network launched to support underrepresented professionals throughout the region. The foundation has been created to work for the betterment of our workplace, with the aim of building an active movement in the future that will inspire and empower everyone across all departments.

AIDC

Asia Inclusion & Diversity Council

Our regional council in APAC is taking guidance from the global direction to discuss, form and own a regionally relevant action plan. This council provides insights into region-specific I&D goals and objectives.

CARE

Council to Advance Racial Equity

Created to guide and inform VF’s strategy to combat racial inequity. This council is committed to developing short- and long-term strategies and actions that will address the issue of racial justice in meaningful and authentic ways.

OUR EMPLOYEE RESOURCE GROUPS

Currently, we have four Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) with 20+ chapters across the globe that help us cultivate an inclusive culture.

They create a safe space for learning and dialogue about underrepresented groups, establishing a sense of community amongst associates and providing platforms to collect and share insights to support business imperatives.

Attract. Connect. Engage. (ACE) Diversity

A multicultural group focused on building an inclusive culture by providing opportunities for associates to connect with one another, build leadership capabilities and foster a sense of community for our Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) associates.

Women of VF Employee Network (WOVEN)

Focused on promoting women’s leadership, attracting and retaining the best female talent and building a community of safe and honest dialogue. There are nine chapters across the organization.

VF Pride

Focused on creating an inclusive environment for LGBTQ+ employees and allies that supports and enhances authenticity and individuality. This ERG connects, engages, and empowers the VF Pride community.
