Through our Supplier Diversity program, we are leveraging our size, scale and resources to create business growth opportunities for underrepresented and underserved groups. We know this is the right thing to do, and it will allow us to create more avenues to procure supplies that benefit our consumers worldwide.
With this goal in mind, we recently committed to doubling our spend with minority- and women-owned businesses by 2025 through enterprise direct and indirect procurement, as well as, through the purchasing activities of our family of brands. We are proud to lead this effort as we strive to create a world that has a desire to be more inclusive.
Inclusiveness can make our supply chain more resilient and agile – an increasingly important advantage in these uncertain times. Our Supplier Diversity program will allow us to expand more easily into markets with different demographics, encourage innovation and competition, and help us to generate new ideas with fresh perspectives and ultimately better products and experiences for our consumers.
