VF Names Karen Murray President of Sportswear Coalition

Will Lead VF's Nautica and Kipling (U.S.) Businesses

GREENSBORO, N.C.--

VF Corporation (NYSE: VFC) announced that it has promoted Karen Murray to President of its Sportswear coalition, effective immediately. The Sportswear coalition, which is based in New York City, includes the Nautica, Kipling (U.S.) and John Varvatos businesses.

Ms. Murray joined VF Sportswear in September, 2007 as President of its Nautica Men's Sportswear and Nautica Jeans Company businesses. Prior to joining VF she served as Group President, Menswear, Mid-tier, International Alliances and Licensing for Liz Claiborne Inc., where she was employed for 15 years.

Ms. Murray will report to Eric Wiseman, President and CEO of VF Corporation. She replaces Denise Seegal, who left the Company in May to pursue other interests. "A proven leader with a track record of success in men's sportswear, Karen has demonstrated exceptional leadership since joining VF and has brought fresh perspectives and energy to the business," said Wiseman. "I have great confidence in the improvements Karen's team is making in Nautica sportswear, and in her ability to execute our long term vision for the coalition."

Murray received a bachelor's of science degree from the University of Maryland. She serves on a number of charitable organization Boards and Committees.
